S45Cの突切り加工事例 HORN工具ブレーカー別による切りくず処理と表面粗さ比較
今回の加工事例では、被削材として広く使用される「S45C」を対象に、
HORN3種類の溝入れ/突切り加工用ブレーカーを装着した工具を使用し、突切り加工を実施しました。
本テストでは、切りくず処理に加えて、算術平均粗さ(Ra)および最大断面高さ(Pt)の測定も行い、それぞれのブレーカー特性を比較しました。
<加工条件>
被削材: S45C
インサート幅: 2.0 mm
切削速度: 180 m/min
回転数: 周速一定
送り量: 0.08 mm/rev
同一条件での加工結果から、各ブレーカーの特長により、切りくずの形状や分断性、さらに表面粗さ(Ra、Pt)の違いが明確に確認できました。
特に、切りくず処理性能が高いブレーカーでは、細かく均一な切りくずが得られるため、加工の安定性や効率性が向上します。
