OMEGADYNE® offers K-Series straingages in dual linear patterns in a halfbridgedesign with a common tab. Precision Karma material offers excellent temperature and fatigue characterisitcs. K-Series gages have plated solder pads which make soldering quick and easy. No special solders or fluxes are required. Thesestrain gages might be used fortransducer design for beams that have acontraflexure point. Defined as a pointin a structure where bending occurs inopposite directions. A transducer mayalso be described as a reversed bendingbeam. The grids are linear, both in the same direction, and are typically usedfor bending strain applications.
