Spark Prevention Sparks caused by foreign objects, such as conveyed materials, getting caught on the rotating roller sides can be completely prevented by installing the NS Guard. Even if an object does get caught, the NS Guard does not rotate, eliminating the risk of sparking. Dust & Waterproof By installing NS Guard over the standard labyrinth seal—which already offers excellent sealing—foreign matter is kept further away from the roller’s entry point, significantly improving the sealing performance. High Corrosion Resistance & Long Lifespan NS Guard is made from a newly developed, highly corrosion-resistant galvanized steel plate. It offers 10–20 times the corrosion resistance of hot-dip galvanized steel and 5–8 times that of hot-dip zinc-alumi- num alloy coated steel. Additionally, the protective coating on the material forms a self-healing film over cut edges or scratches, providing excellent long-term corrosion protection.
